u would use a general one if you are just saying how u feel or what u r doing
u would use a target one if u wanted to talk to someone in specific and have a mini conversation.

i think theis web site is abit like myspace where you can add friends and talk to people but i dont think you can edit your profile.
Part 1 Definitions
E-mail E-Mail stands for electronic mail which is basicly your letter box on the computer.
mailing list- a mailing list is a list with multiple nemes and adresses which when e-mails are sent they are sent to the whole list.

message board- a message board is a electronic web page where you can find out about all different subjects depending on what type of message board you go to.
discussion groups- decussion groups are abit like message boards but you can comment on the different subjects and talk to people about the topic.

newsgroups- newsgroups are basicly the same thing as decussion groups but newsgroups concitrate on mainly news.
IRC- IRC’s are the same as decussion groups in that you can decuss about different topics but IRC’s you can also send files and talk one on one or in groups.
messaging- messaging is a form of communication between two people. its like text messaging rom your phone but on your computer and free. you can talk in groups or one on one.
search engine- search engins are web pages that when a word is typed in all matches to that word are found and are hyperlinked to another page involving the word you typed in.
browser- a web browser allows a user to view images, text, sound, and use hyperlinks on a web page quickly and easily.

Answer the following questions
What is an avatar? an avatar is a virtual person representing you and your personality.
What are virtual worlds? virtual worlds are places within cyber space where people can go to play games, meat other people and many other things.
What kind of things could you learn about in a virtual world that would be hard to do in the real world? in a vurtial world it is alot easier to laern about people from other countries because most vurtal worlds can be accessed world wide. it is also alot easier to meant new people.
What kind of things can you do in Teen Second Life? in teen second life you can do what every you want from just walk around to meating poeple and talking to people to making clothes and buildings and selling them to people who want to buy them.




As you will be a n00b in the Skoolaborte project, how do you thing you will?
- Learn to navigate around the place? by practice
- Work out when is the best time to meet someone? by loging on at different times and seeing how many people are on at that time
- How will you treat other people in TSL? approitaly
- How do you want to be treated? kindley
- What skills do you have that you think you can use in TSL? making clothes and building to sell.
Finally, write a code of conduct for participation in TSL.

- no inaproate slogans
- don’t be rude
- and just general thing that should be done
