This card is a card that all Australians need to have to be able to access medicare and welfare payments. It contains enhanced security and will be replacing other cards for medicare benefits, family tax, childcare, unemployment payments, pensions, etc.The card Australiand ID card will also be used to check id for immigration and security and to lower fraud rates. Its embedded computer chip will include a photograph, number, signature, date of birth and address. This is like a personal database all focused around the actual person.
